All I need to set up this video of a 1981 KRON news report is to quote the anchorwoman’s first sentence:

Imagine, if you will, sitting down to your morning coffee and turning on your home computer to read the day’s newspaper.

Yeah, there you go.

Ironically, after your try to use the search feature on the modern San Francisco Examiner’s Web site, you can openly wonder if there’s been as much progress made as we all think. (Apologies to a former colleague now working there)
